My daughter is now going on her 3rd season with neighborhood dance and I can't say enough amazing things about our experience. It is such a supportive and family like environment for a dance studio. Michelle always has what's best for the children in mind and the teachers are amazing ! I absolutely love the welcoming and diverse atmosphere in the studio. Michelle is so quick to respond to concerns and make sure the children come first and to ensure the love of dance and having fun while doing it for them. If you're looking for a dance studio look no further.

My daughter absolutely loved her first musical theater experience. She performed in her first show, Beauty and the Beast Jr., with Neighborhood Dance in May. While we missed the beginning of the training season, we were ecstatic that the Owner and Creative Director, Michelle, still allowed my daughter to join. She, as well as all the cast members, were welcoming and supportive. One of the girls even came in on her own time (and her mom's!) to do additional practice and bring my daughter up to speed in her part. I was really touched that they would do this for us. This is a really great group of leaders, kids, and supporting parents! Michelle is wonderful. She is high energy, professional, friendly, and easy to work with. I noticed how she did a really great job of including all the kids in the production, from group singing and dancing, to narrating and moving set props. Every child had important roles in the production. I want to give Michelle a huge shout out for her clear communication and organization skills. The weekly family letters and the Performance Guide she provides are excellent. We were “in the know” at all times, felt prepared and knew what to expect moving forward. For this being our first time, all our questions were being answered proactively, and we knew what to do and when, the big details and the small. Very impressive and appreciated! My daughter loved the experience of singing and dancing on stage! She continues to learn discipline and hard work (to give 100%, no matter how big or small the role), patience, being selfless (supporting her cast mates, understanding that every role matters), and how to take constructive feedback (from the leaders and her cast mates). These are skills that will serve her well in the future. She's made new friends and is looking forward to next year's production. She’s even convinced her little brother to believe in his abilities and he will be attending as well! There are not too many activities a 7-year-old and 11-year-old can do together, so this next year will be extra special for our family. If you ever have the chance to have your child participate with Michelle and her team at Neighborhood Dance, do it!

I highly recommend Neighborhood Dance. What truly distinguishes this studio is the nurturing and uplifting environment fostered by the dedicated staff. Here, students are encouraged to push their limits and evolve as dancers, all the while feeling supported and secure. The sense of family that permeates the studio nurtures deep connections between dancers, forging a community spirit that transcends mere class attendance. Forever grateful for their genuine dedication to support my daughters love of dance. Neighborhood dance is a true gem in our neighborhood.

Neighborhood Dance is an amazing studio! Michelle is a wonderful teacher and owner who loves what she does. The kids adore her. Classes range from tiny tots up to high school age kids. There’s something for everyone one! I was truly impressed with how seamless the transition from in person lessons to virtual lessons went. The dancers were still engaged and still having fun and learning right from home. We’re so happy to have found neighborhood dance and are starting our 3rd year here. Highly recommend!

My daughter started dance classes with Neighborhood Dance earlier this year and she has loved it. She is a shy eleven year old and struggles in school because of her dyslexia but dance has built her confidence and opened a new world where she can shine. Michelle has a special way of engaging and encouraging young girls to work hard while having fun. She has enormous energy, discipline, and talent and her love for teaching and performing spills over to her students. I am so glad we found Michelle and Neighborhood Dance and look forward to the next year!
