Charlotte Dance Collective runs six weeks of themed dance camps at its studio at 5655 N. Tryon Street, open to rising kindergarteners through sixth graders, roughly ages 5-12. Camps run 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. with after-care available on request, a genuinely full-day format, at $150 per week or $50 per drop-in day. Themed weeks have covered ballet basics with royal crafts, cheer choreography and basic tumbling, an ocean week with water play, and a Disney classics week.
