Miller Street Dance Academy has taught dance since 1994 and runs studios in Charlotte (11115 Golf Links Drive) and Fort Mill. Its summer dance camps are four-day, half-day sessions running Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., for ages 3 and up, grouping campers by age and mixing dance and tumbling with arts and games. The academy also offers a week-long summer ballet intensive for more advanced dancers, plus summer sessions and drop-in classes.

She went to one class and I said this was absolutely not the dance school for my daughter. The way they talked to the children there was awful. The week following, I find Miller Street and from the moment that we walked in I knew this was going to be the place for my daughter to learn the art of dance.
