Musical Theatre Conservatory runs Broadway Boot Camp, a musical theater day camp in West Orange for performers ages 7-19 of all skill levels. In 2026 it runs July 7-25, Monday through Friday from 9:15am to 3:45pm, with daily classes in vocal technique, song interpretation, TV/acting, comedy, stage combat, theatre dance and audition technique. Faculty are working professionals including Broadway performers, casting directors and agents, and the final show is performed at Alvin Ailey in New York City.

All the other teachers and great as well! They teach them everything from singing, dancing, performing, and have a final show both in NJ where the camp is held and one in NYC! Would recommend this camp to anyone!

She loved how professional it was and all the different classes they offered: acting, voice training, dancing and professional make up ( so cool!). A week into the program and she was asking if she could return next year. Randy and all the wonderful teachers foster a very supportive learning environment and give the children the tools to play to their strengths. They constantly offer feedback and ways to improve their skills on stage. The showcase at the end of the program was stellar and a clear reflection of the hard work and dedication of the students and the teachers, and the passion for musical theater shared by all. Most importantly, they really care about each of the kids and are so positive and supportive. We were blown away by the final showcase! I would pay to see it WITHOUT my kid being a part! It was that good! And Randy’s famous pool party for the campers was the highlight of my daughter’s summer. Such a great experience top to bottom.

They also put on a show in NJ & NY in which all participants have their own spot light for a few songs at a time! My son loved getting to know all the teachers and made great friends. Randy and her team are truly dedicated, loving and hard working.My son will definitely be retuning next year. The only thing I would have loved to see is the participants performing their acting scripts during the live show. This is a great camp!!!
