Themed weekly dance camps at Music in Motion, a Virginia Beach studio on North Lynnhaven Road with more than 35 years in operation. Campers take real technique classes in ballet, jazz, hip-hop, lyrical, musical theater and acro, exploring the week's theme through choreography, games and crafts, and every camp builds toward a Friday showcase for families. Ages 2.5-5 run 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM (half-day), and ages 6-10 run a full day, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM; no prior experience is required and camps are open to new students.

The instructions are all amazing, they are so kind and respectful. The owner Lauren is one of the easiest people to work with. Now only 1 of my kids dances. We stayed with them because they have such a great program but it still feels like a community. My dance experience growing up was quite the opposite. Skylar has been wonderful to both my girls through the years, she has a huge heart. I know my daughter will miss her as she advances. We started with a free trial class which was definitely worth it.

I am so thankful for the season she had here and the memories that will last a lifetime. A lot of her firsts and I'm so glad we have the pictures to remind us as well as a few MIM items.
