Powered by GoogleAlways pleasant and polite staff. This location offers a clean and well managed equipment, pool, basketball courts, indoor track and a safe place for the whole family. I love the boundaries on cell phones.
Better equipped than the average gym, but there are YMCAs that have more to offer than this one. Edit: In response to the 'Response from the owner' I will clarify that there isn't anything additional I would like to see offered at the Robinson branch. My children really enjoy the 'ninja room' at the branch in Piqua. If there were a 'ninja room' added to the Robinson branch my wife and children would frequent it more often, but I'm not convinced it would be worth it with the Piqua branch so nearby which already has their 'ninja room.' I enjoy the racquetball courts, steam room, sauna, and hot tub (though the hot tub is currently under construction) at the branch in Greenville, which are not available at the Robinson branch.
Great YMCA with clean facilities and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. The gym equipment is well maintained, there’s plenty of space for workouts, and it never felt overly crowded. The staff were helpful and the place was organized and easy to navigate.
The front desk evening at this place is the worst. In my multiple, multiple experiences through the years it’s always painful. The front desk staff lack common sense ans social intelligence and make divorced families feel discriminated against, like freaks in front of their kids. While my children have a membership, there have been multiple instances where they have charged me a…$5 guest pass…to supervise my kids while they play basketball? Would you prefer tweenagers run around unattended? No? Not allowed? Ok then let a parent supervise their child (duh). Younger staff under the age of 40 don’t make us mortifyingly recite our entire family tree and the dynamics of how their dad’s “family account” has a mom listed and it’s not me when my kids scan in with their cards. Actual things I’ve had to say to your evening staff: “Ya. Dad remarried. Yup. I am their mom. Yup. Different last name. Nope- she’s not his wife, they aren’t married yet. Just engaged. Not their mom. Nope. She’s didn’t have kids. Yup, I went back to my maiden name, so it’s different than my children’s. No, I’m not using their membership my kids just want to play ball in the open gym... Every. Single. Time. It’s bad. Like 1950’s judgmental conservative make you wear a Scarlett letter while you supervise your own children bad.
Very nice staff. New weights in weight room. Many amenities. Overall great value for money. If you are nervous / new would be a good gym for you.
