Powered by GoogleThis place is filthy filthy filthy. And it seems like most of the rooms are always closed off to other classes except the main exercise room, It’s usually overcrowded and parking sucks on Saturday. You always have to park at the next-door church.
Pretty toxic. Withholds a lot of information before you sign up for programs... Can't get in touch with instructors and the staff provides generic info. Not really a place for people who are serious and passionate about what they're into. They claim to not give contact information for their instructors out, but I have proof they give it out to folks in their little good old boy ring...
We absolutely love the Kettering YMCA! My son has been playing basketball here for years, and it’s been a fantastic experience for him. I’ve also had the opportunity to coach, and the leagues are very well organized. The staff does an excellent job creating a positive and supportive environment for the kids. Special shoutout to Lane Stanford for doing such a great job running things. Highly recommend this YMCA to any families in the area!
We have been going to the YMCA for YEARS…. For the most part it seems to be the same people that work there, and we love this about the Y. It feels like extended family. But the major reason we chose the Y as our gym is because we have four kids, and the South Y’s child watch is like no other. Over the years a lot of people have come and gone through the child watch. But there’s always one our children love and feel most comfortable with the most. Now that our almost 2.5 year old can say some words, she is incredibly excited in the morning to go to the gym to see “my China” (as she says)! China has been a godsend to making us feel comfortable dropping off our 2.5 year old, but more importantly our now 7 month old. But since the 8? Week mark that I could bring her in, China has been there providing excellent care for our babies and we wouldn’t have it any other way! Other people to not that have gone above and beyond for our family when we use the child watch center is Miss Lisa, Allie, and Kaili! To note it’s not just the child watch that we love! We enjoy MOST people there, Jacob, Allegra, Karen, Debbie,Jerry, Lane. Familiar faces that recognize us and genuinely show care for how we are doing and remember us and our big bunch of kids. These workers outshine the few that we’ve come across that have been less than desirable towards us during the years.
I would give 10 stars if I could! This is the best gym I've ever been to. The child watch staff are exceptional and I feel so comfortable leaving my children there. Karen is an great membership director, Eme the child watch coordinator gives 1000% in everything and Karen in gymnastics is so patient with my children.
