Martial Arts World has changed my entire families lives. It offers daycare, and summer camp, all while keeping your kids active and earning a black belt. In 2 months, we will have 1 black belt in the family. Within the next 2 yrs, we will surely have 3, possibly 4, as both my kids and both parents take Martial Arts. What I love the most is the curriculum is not typical to any general Tae Know Do or Karate Dojo or Dojang one might see in a strip mall. Master Bane, and Senior Instructor Stevens are amazing, no other words to describe it, but incredible people. The original MAW school is in Orlando so once a yr, every school meets in Orlando and Chester VA to compete against the other schools. Valuable life lessons are taught and learned here. They teach a style of real life scenario self defense, so yes, we roll, we spar, we train hard. It gives a built sense of self confidence that can only be learned through trials. It looks easy, until you're the one in the dobak being asked what do YOU do? Its invigorating, giving one's self a higher sense of being. From original and impressive board breaks to weapons training, if you start and stick with it, it'll change your life too.......I speak from experience!! MAW helped me lose 110 lbs in 11 months......Thats all I can say! "It doesnt translate to real life scenarios" says everyone not training....come and stop by in athletic gear, Im happy to spar ANYONE.....if you win, then you can spar my wife!!!!😁🙏💯🥷✨️💫MUDO!!!!!

My son has been going to this facility for quite a few years. The price is fair, the staff is absolutely amazing, the owner herself has the biggest heart and is one of the most humble and welcoming people you will ever meet. She is always wiling to answer questions and she is extremely professional about it. As we know, kids will be kids and we have had a few bumps but whenever I brought anything to the staff to include the owner, it was handled fairly. I have never questioned my son’s safety or if he was going to have fun. A couple of his favorite things they play are, ‘sock wars,’ and ‘dodgeball.’ He always comes home sweaty. Hahaha, I guess I’d consider that a win. Thank you MAW - Glen Allen for keeping my son safe and happy. It puts my mom mind at ease. You guys rock!

I can’t overstate how much Martial Arts World has impacted my family. We initially came here out of necessity after our previous after-school program fell through, and I’ll admit I was hesitant—I wasn't sure how a martial arts setting would compare to traditional daycare. Taking that leap was the best decision we could have made. Unlike programs where kids are simply supervised in a room, Martial Arts World offers a structured environment focused on exercise and academic support. Since joining, my son’s confidence has skyrocketed, and seeing him join the Demo Team was a proud milestone for us. A huge thank you to Master Bane and the entire instructor team. They are incredibly attentive, listen to parents' concerns, and act quickly. Beyond the curriculum, their reliability is unmatched; during severe weather or unexpected school closings, they are almost always open, saving us from the stress of scrambling for childcare. Martial Arts World Glen Allen has been an incredible experience for my daughter. My child is enrolled in the after-school program, and the structure, consistency, and care they provide have been outstanding.
