I recently celebrated my daughter’s fifth birthday at Luna de Papel, and it was a fantastic experience! Although this studio is nearly an hour’s drive from my home, it was absolutely worth it. I had been searching for a colorful, engaging, and unique setting for kids—something different from the typical jumping places in my area—and Luna de Papel was exactly what I was looking for. Ruth was exceptionally helpful, warm, and accommodating, making sure everything went smoothly and that we felt welcome. She even decorated the cake table, and it was beautifully done, adding a special touch to the celebration. Ruth also recommended some nearby options for food, including Mordi’s for sandwiches and chicken for the kids. The sandwiches were honestly the best we’ve ever had! The team at Mordi’s was so kind and helpful; they even helped me figure out the right amount of food for our group, which made everything easier. The activities Ruth planned were perfect, and the girls assisting her were sweet and attentive with my daughter and her friends. The kids had a wonderful time, and I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. I highly recommend Luna de Papel for anyone looking for a memorable, creative, and fun experience.

Luna de Papel is an amazing small POC woman owned business that I was so fortunate to find on a list of local JC businesses that also host private parties. After a very successful experience doing it all myself for my daughter’s 1st birthday I was determined to find a venue this year that would lessen the load for me. Ruth and her team did an amazing job not only decorating the spaces but curating an itinerary that kept everyone happy and entertained. The kids had so much fun with their art project and we all parents included had a blast jamming out and dancing to some fun tunes during our little dance party with all the lights bells and whistles that just made it extra special. I’m so happy that I chose to have our daughter’s 2nd birthday here. I might be back next year who knows. But I will be recommending this wonderful family owned business to all my friends and family and strangers I come across needing a space to host their children’s celebrations. You will not be disappointed if you choose to host your event with Luna de Papel!

Ok, I love this woman owned after school/day camp/summer camp! Luna de Papel is the place I want to go every day! Ruth is amazing! She’s very knowledgeable about all things craft. If you have a crafty child, they will love it! The program is broken up by different crafts per week: painting, knitting/crochet, weaving/felting, and 1 more that I cannot recall. And, There’s a reading area with great books to keep them occupied in another way (other than crafting) for end of day wind down. There are so many great things to say about Ruth & her camp especially it’s so clean & organized! Ruth is open, friendly, and so is her staff.
