This is a fabulous community center for Rochester. The exercise and aquatic facilities are clean, spacious, well-staffed, safe, have activities and classes for all ages, handicapped/disabled accessible. Good, clean, well-stocked and well- maintained locker rooms and showers, with privacy. Performing arts are available for view seasonally. On-site deli with seating. Community rooms have themed exhibits from time to time.

We went to see, "The Sound," the last show of the 2025/2026 season. It was a very interesting storyline, based on real-life experiences.

I was initially very excited about enrolling my son here and had waited quite a long time for a spot to open. Unfortunately, our experience ended up being deeply disappointing. During our time at the daycare, I felt that both my son and I were treated differently, and not in a positive way. At the time, my son was not yet fully adopted, and I couldn’t help but feel that this may have influenced how we were perceived and treated. As a parent, that was incredibly disheartening. The transition to Jennifer Mehlenleacher & Christine Belykh was also a major factor in our experience. There seemed to be a noticeable decline in overall organization and communication, along with significant staff turnover and ongoing staffing shortages. This created an environment that felt unstable and, at times, concerning. I personally witnessed Jennifer numerous times talked down to her staff humiliating them in front of guests. Which was not uncomfortable for the guests, but it was extremely humiliating for her staff. I chose to wait before writing this review so I could reflect and compare our experience with another daycare. Having now seen what a supportive, well-run environment looks like, I can confidently say that this experience did not meet reasonable expectations. I truly hoped for a much more positive experience, and it’s unfortunate that it didn’t turn out that way.

Beautiful facility. The poor man’s or middle class man’s midtown. I feel so grateful to have access to such a wonderful facility. Perfect swimming pool, brand new equipment, not crowded. The membership which is usually 80-100 usd per person a month I got for $28 through USAA active and fit. For only 69 dollars extra you can get access to the spa ( steam room, hot tub, sauna your own assigned locker, laundry service & towel service etc.) but you can still access the sauna and hot tub without the extra cost through a normal membership. I’m looking forward to hopefully gaining some muscle here since I have struggled to do that as someone who has been borderline underweight or underweight for most of my life. I feel comfortable and welcome here. I will be bringing my friends and family over as well. Extremely close to all the colleges, downtown, park ave and Brighton area. Excellent location. Best gym in Rochester for the money.

Amazing facilities! We went to a kid birthday party and the staff was great. BIG heated family pools, toddler pool area, outdoor splash area, family changing rooms, pool noodles, balls, flippers, water tables, and a separate pool for diving and laps, amazing! The only thing I didn't like was the gym had many under inflated basketballs with cracks and splits that didn't bounce well. But a very small thing compared to everything else.
