Amiko Learning Center provided our daughter an amazing learning experience. It helped fuel her love of learning and looked forward to the two years we were enrolled there. I would love to see Amiko grow and expand, and enroll our younger daughter in future classes. We also had a medical emergency while enrolled where our daughter was unable to attend the last few weeks of school. Jen and all of her classmates came together to make cards and gifts to help our daughter recover. Highly recommend Amiko for all families looking for alternative learning opportunities over public schooling!

Where to start! We connected with Amiko when I first started my homeschooling journey with my daughter in 2019. I was searching for a place where I could connect with other homeschool families/ educational support in an environment that would support and align with the goals/ values of our homeschooling but also a space where I could lean on the expertise of others that had already embarked on the homeschooling path. Amiko was the perfect fit. Jen’s combination of previous Montessori teaching experience and the core values she set forth at Amiko allowed my daughter to thrive. Our journey with Amiko coincided with the Pandemic where we came together as a community to carve out a way to continue our educational connection and continue classes while as the same time bending to the need for social distancing to keep us all safe and healthy. A giant pivot and Jen was able to continue classes with a transition to virtual school via Zoom and then eventually to a fully outdoor teaching environment! Genius. I can’t say enough about Amiko. There is certainly a tangible void since classes have ended. We’ve paused our homeschooling journey due in part to Amiko not offering classes currently. We would love to see Amiko back offering classes:)))). Amiko is amazing.

We have been involved with Amiko Learning Center for years and love this community. I have learned how kids learn best from my Masters program and reading lots of books on neuroscience and education. Jen is able to implement these “best practices” in Amiko with passion utilizing students’ interests, neurodivergent strengths and gifts from outdoor and indoor learning environments. If you’re tired of the traditional education system, look no further than Amiko. Emotional intelligence, interest based learning, and community with each other and the environment is prioritized and respected. Our family has lived this experience through Amiko and I share this review with a grateful heart.

Two of my kids have been enrolled in numerous Amiko Learning Center classes and programs in the past few years. They have significantly enhanced our homeschool lives. They provided numerous classes and programs for various interests, and adapted wonderfully during the pandemic to an outdoor program. The teachers are high quality and do their best to encourage and challenge children in equal measure and the results are happy, growing, learning kids. I have another kiddo who is almost old enough to enroll and I'm excited for him to experience Amiko.

My child attends Amiko Learning center and we love it! The teachers and guides go above and beyond each week to ensure the kids are learning in a fun and creative way. During covid they have been keeping the kids active and engaged while staying safe. My daughter has developed a love of leaning and a sense of wonder from her experiences here. I highly recommend the classes as well as the forest school program.
