The Lawrence YMCA is a branch of the Merrimack Valley YMCA at 40 Lawrence Street serving Andover, North Andover, Lawrence, and Methuen. In summer it runs Summer Connect, a free program for incoming grades 5-9 focused on enrichment and personal growth, plus academic support for tweens. The Merrimack Valley YMCA also operates day Camp Otter and overnight Camps Lawrence (boys) and Nokomis (girls) on Lake Winnipesaukee.

★S TThe worst facilities with age discrimination. There is no privacy in the boys' and girls' rooms. Not to mention, the boys' and girls' rooms are tiny and smell bad compared to the men's and women's rooms. Even a single family room is bigger than the girls' room. The worst part is that there are no stalls in the boys' and girls room. So, do kids under 18 have to change their clothes in front of others? There are two shower heads, and often they don't work, nobody is fixing it.
★EZ QUADNo open gym at all. No open pool at all. They have all of the fitness areas downstairs closed. Only thing there is for the money you pay is a small fitness gym that has mostly all machines. Very little free weights. Only good thing about this place is the staff. The staff are always smiling and helpful.
