Koinonia Community
Martin Luther Camp Corp
Koinonia's Nature Day Camp is a fully outdoor day camp on 1,200 acres of Catskill forest at Highland Lake, where the operator states kids ages 4-15 build their own daily schedules alongside staff, choosing among arts and crafts, fishing, swimming and imaginative play, with the stated aim of developing problem-solving, time management, flexibility and conflict resolution. Camp runs Monday-Friday 8:30am-3:30pm from June 29 to August 14, 2026 at $230 per week per child, with breakfast, lunch and a snack included; early drop-off and aftercare to 5:00pm are $75 per week each. Koinonia is operated by Martin Luther Camp Corp and describes itself as drawing on its Christian faith while enthusiastically welcoming people of all faith backgrounds or none, and the day camp page describes no religious programming. Scholarships are offered while funds last, the camp partners with the Sullivan County Child Care Council for families who qualify, and a Town of Highland grant credits $85 per camper per week for town residents on a first-come basis.

Powered by GoogleGreat day camp for my kids plus it provides breakfast and lunch for day camp. You can also rent a cabin and hike on the property. And has boats available.
Staying in the Conference Center or a cabin is excellent all four seasons of the year! Hiking down to the lake makes for gorgeous views, even in the winter.
Love this place. Been here with my church multiple times, and have always had a wonderful time. I’ve only stayed at the main conference center. The lodgings are humble, but very clean and warm. The grounds are really big and there’s lots of activities available. Looking forward to going to a special retreat weekend!
Family and I spent Labor Day at Koinonia, and had a wonderful experience. Stayed at the Lakeside Cabin -- comfortable, private, on an undeveloped lake. A real nature experience. This place is a wonderful resource!
Me and my family have been coming to koinonia since I was a kid, it's still one of my favorite places in NY so peaceful and beautiful. Lots of areas to hike and things to do down by the lake!
