Camp Shohola is a boys' overnight camp on 75-acre Lake Greeley in the Pocono Mountains of northeastern Pennsylvania, running sessions from two weeks up to the full seven-week season. Each camper chooses ten instructional activities from more than 40 options spanning land sports, waterfront and waterskiing, outdoor adventure and river trips, English horseback riding, a ropes course, arts, and a CommTech program covering electronics, computer programming, telecommunications, radio and video production. The camp averages 120 to 150 campers ages 7 to 16 with about 80 staff, and eight to ten campers with two or three counselors per cabin. Shohola is ACA-accredited, keeps two full-time medical personnel and a six-bed infirmary, and is non-sectarian with no religious services held on camp property.

Powered by GoogleI have send my son here for the past three years. Rustic and wonderful place that teaches independence and lets kids explore what interest them not just follow a strict program.
Well, the experience was great! The lake, well it disgusting, BUT they have horse stables, impressive fields, and a nurturing and supportive environment for your boys. Send your kid to shohola or camp Onondaga in Canada for the best summer camp experience.
There is not a better experience available for boys 8 to 15 years old. And if you're older than that there is so much growth you get as a staff member. Horseback riding, soccer, tech, basketball, tennis, trips, a lake, so much more. I can't recommend Camp Shohola enough.
My son loved his summer at Shohola. He had a great time and loved all of the sports and the color war activities. He can't wait to go back. Highly recommend 5 year later.. still loving it
I cannot effectively put into words how truly amazing this place is. In one seemingly-too-short summer it became my second home, they became my second family. Camp Shohola is a positive, inclusive and purely joyful place to be.
