Robotics4U runs spring and summer camps out of Paradigm Athletic Center at 1743 Route 17A in Florida, NY, one of three Hudson Valley sites. Camps are STEAM-based: campers take home a DIY project every day, building battle bots with DC motors, marshmallow towers, zip lines, pom-pom launchers and analog clocks, and running density, magnetism and atmospheric-pressure experiments, alongside coding, robotic games, team-building challenges and outdoor activities. Camp is priced at $199 per week or $45 per day, so single days can be booked. The center also runs classes, workshops, after-school and homeschool programs and Scout STEM and robotics badge workshops.

My daughter has been attending Robotics 4 U classes for many years and has always thoroughly enjoyed her experiences there. This summer, she was able to take her love of coding further by attending a Python summer camp. She was thrilled to advance her coding knowledge even further and truly enjoyed the week she spent at camp. Her instructor was engaging, kind and patient.

My children (7 Year old Twins) enjoyed their first 6 week session so much that we signed up for another 6 weeks. They are learning so much and are having fun in the process. Miss Monali engages with the kids in such a special way. She challenges them to be creative and think about things in different ways. I struggle with getting them to tell me about their school day, however when we drive home from Robotics class, they talk so much about all the things they did (most notably, programming the robot to play basketball!). I love how excited they are to attend each week and how they are developing problem-solving skills.

Our son has been attending the Robotics4U classes for several years now and he loves it! He started in the Junior Robotics Program and has since progressed to the Apprentice Engineers Program. The classroom environment is a perfect combination of fun and education. Our son has been exposed to coding, critical thinking, and teamwork which is excellent. Mrs. Monali and her staff are wonderful teachers and they really keep the students engaged throughout the entire class!”

Robotics4U is one of the highlights of my son’s week. He’s learning more than just about coding, but also about researching, trying and then failing, until he gets the right answer. The opportunity to fail and persevere is so critical for children to set them up to be life-long learners. Highly recommend this class. Both my son and daughter love the Spring/Summer Camps here to ! It was a great mix of inventing, learning and physical play! They took advantage of the facility to burn off energy when needed and then focus back in on creating. My son also did the Scratch Workshop here. Talk about money well spent! After a seemingly short bit of time in this focused class, it opened up the world of scratch for my son to explore outside of it. Since that class he (and then he inspired his sister) has spent productive time building and creating.

We were looking for a local computer coding class for my son for a few years before we found Robotics4U. It's been such a wonderful experience for my son. He has really taken his natural engineering mind and put it to use. He's always been a great problem solver but this class has given him the confidence he needed to know he could do it. The workshops are fun and keep my son in the groove between sessions. The teachers are patient and really get the kids motivated. I can't thank the teachers enough for giving my son this opportunity.
