Game Design Academy runs game design, digital art and storytelling camps and classes at 405 Hackensack St in Carlstadt, Bergen County. All-day camps run 9:00am–3:00pm and are unusually flexible: families can book a single day, a full week, or mix and match non-consecutive days, and camps run year-round including spring break, summer and holidays. Through a 50/50 model blending physical and digital work, kids cover game design, level design, character creation, 3D modelling, animation, coding basics and digital art. The academy lists classes for kids ages 7–12 (grades 1–5).
