Keller Youth Association
Private
Keller Youth Association (KYA) is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit at 200 Sports Pkwy in Keller that runs organized youth sports leagues in football, baseball, softball, basketball and cheerleading. In partnership with the City of Keller it plays its games at Keller Sports Park, and its stated mission is helping young people develop into better adults through organized sport. Its baseball program is among the larger ones in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Programming is seasonal league play, not a summer camp.

Powered by GoogleThis was our first time with KYA, and I would definitely advise other parents to stay away from this league. I’m not sure who determines how the teams are set up, but it definitely doesn’t make sense and is very unfair.
My family loves KYA. We have played here for 2 season now, and both have been amazing. We have played at a few other youth organizations with terrible experiences. KYA is worth the drive for us. 10/10 recommend.
This is our second season with KYA and we absolutely love the cheer program and all of the people involved. As a part of the greater KYA football family we’ve been given cool opportunities like getting to practice at AT&T stadium and all of the football coaches we’ve encountered have been wonderful! It truly feels like a community here.
Parents please read this entire review! You absolutely need to avoid this league because their ethics and values don’t align with simple morals. Rhett Taylor is the person behind the ridiculous unethical behavior. If Calvin knew what was best he would remove Rhett and replace him with someone that actually cared about the volunteer coaches and kids that put their trust in this league. Rhett bullies his volunteer coaches and place’s commissioners in position to allow him to push his rudeness throughout the league. I promise you if you register your child in this league you will regret it. As a parent with family values I suggest looking at other local youth associations in the area. Just google and pretty much choose anyone other than KYA. I just hate that this is allowed in the city of Keller to continue to happen. There is no mistake that there is so many 1 star reviews on here. Just read through the multiple reviews and know that it’s not a coincidence that so many people have an issue with Rhett. Wake up Calvin and change this league or watch it slowly dwindle away.
I've been coaching youth football at KYA since 2009. Great organization.
