They've operated 100+ years which I think has allowed them to really fine-tune the balance of fun, education and safety. Staff are usually a blend of professional educators and well-selected and trained college age students. They've really perfected how to create a supportive atmosphere that encourages friendships between campers, without the bullying or cliques that occur in schools. My kids have always loved it. There have also been a number of very successful and influential people who have sent their kids here, which to me just the fact that people with the ability to send their kids anywhere in the world for the summer, choose to send them here, just highlights the quality and reputation of Keewaydin's program.
