Green Mountain Conservation Camp is a week-long residential program run by the Vermont Fish & Wildlife Department for youth ages 12–16, held at its Lake Bomoseen (Castleton) and Buck Lake (Woodbury) sites. Campers do hands-on learning in ecology, forestry, orienteering, safe firearm and archery techniques, swimming, canoeing, and fishing, with separate boys' and girls' weeks. Basic sessions serve ages 12–14 and advanced sessions (prior campers) run to age 16.

I called the week of July 15th and have yet to hear back from the camp director, regarding my son who camped the week of July 8-13th!!!! We paid out of our pockets(didn't request or receive a scholorship) for this week of camp and would think that people would be more considerate and respectful enough to return a phone call.
