★★★★★Identity TronI would call this a 5 star experience for an Idyllwild camp. I have also been at Emerson camp in Idyllwild and this, thankfully, was not nearly as dusty. We stayed in the Creekside Cabins. I was happy to have electricity and the cabins stayed cooler than the outdoor temperature. Also pictured is the bathroom sinks to give you an idea. It is a fairly typical camp bathroom experience except they kept it cleaner than some camps I have been to. The food was slightly better than similar camps I have been at and a few food items were actually quite good (beignets for breakfast were a standout). The paint ball course had great terrain and obstacles and running short segments was a great approach. We also did archery and hatchet throwing with the "Hatchet Hunk" as he was labeled by some of our campers. Pool, mud pit, hiking, snack shack. The staff was really pleasant and contributed to a great experience (shout out to our snack shack crew who made about 40 milkshakes for us). Thank you for having us.
