Camp Conrad Chinnock is a residential (sleepaway) summer camp in the San Bernardino Mountains near Angelus Oaks for youth and families living with Type 1 diabetes, operated by Diabetes Camping & Educational Services. Alongside diabetes self-management education overseen by a pediatric endocrinologist and a medical team of physicians, nurses and dietitians, campers enjoy arts and crafts, swimming, canoeing, archery, mountain biking, hiking and a 35-foot climbing/adventure tower. Financial aid is available, and both youth and family camps are offered.

★★★★★Miyo CAmazing cabins and community. We have been coming here for t1d camps every summer and winter ever since we learned about them. Melanie, jessica, rocky , ryan. They are all wonderful compassionate human beings that open up their arms for the kids and family. My kiddo loves it here and this is her home away from home and family that is extended from our family. Keep up the great work and thank you so much for this community and what you guys are doing. This campground has bb gun, archery range, climbing wall, swimming pool, clean cabins, nice and lovely hike trailz, wonderful dining area and cool play lodge with tons of games, medical center, and event center. ★★★★★LucyI love this camp. I have been going to it since I was 6. All the staff treat you like family and are so incredibly caring. The kids that go here are nothing but amazing and kind. All kids get along, except for prancing between cabins. :) I can't say enough good things. It is truly my second home. If your child is type one diabetic please sign them up. They will want to come back year after year after year. Everyone at this camp understands you and all the staff is extremely knowledgeable about diabetes. I am in better control when I am at camp. The activities at camp are SOO fun. The doctors are so knowledgeable and it is easy as a camper to bond with them. Again, I can not say enough good things.
