The Family YMCA of the Desert runs a traditional summer day camp for children in 1st-5th grade with nature awareness, hiking, arts and crafts, cooking, golf, surfing, and games, plus a High Adventure program for 6th-10th graders and teen trips. It serves Indio, La Quinta, Palm Desert, Palm Springs, and Rancho Mirage, with a La Quinta site at 49955 Moon River Dr.
