Powered by GoogleI love the Y for working out, summer camp, swim lessons for the kids, and the child watch program was clutch when I needed to work out as a new mom. They were and are fantastic.
I've had a great experience with the Foxboro YMCA. The facilities and staff are excellent. Lots of great classes and the pool is really nice. The cardio and weight area is staffed with knowledgeable and friendly staff. Raymond has been extremely helpful in providing guidance and creative options for mobility and strength training.
My child has completed swim, gymnastics and sports classes as well as attends the daycare daily. I love love love this place, the staff makes it a loving caring accepting environment and the children are constantly evolving physically, mentally and emotionally. Any concerns or issues are quickly addressed, prioritized by staff and remedied in a timely-manner. They children are regularly involved in physical activities rotating within all the programs offered by the YMCA. They promote diversity and inclusion while also celebrating the individuality of the children. They celebrate holidays, sports and birthdays in creative ways that keep the children engaged. My child has attended 2 other daycare facilities, this is the best one yet! 10/10
I’m extremely disappointed with the Child Watch experience at this YMCA. This is not the first safety concern we’ve experienced, and after this incident, I no longer feel comfortable leaving my child here. On January 4, my 2-month-old infant was left in a car seat placed on a table, not on the floor or in a crib, with no staff member standing nearby, while approximately 15–20 children were moving around the room. He was also fed a bottle while still in the car seat, which is unsafe for infants. When I asked about policies for newborns, staff were unable to explain the rules and said they needed to check with someone else, which was very concerning given the responsibility of caring for infants. I also observed a crawling baby in the room with many children running around, and although staff said they were “keeping an eye” on the baby, no one was actually positioned near them. As a parent, it’s alarming to see inconsistent supervision and unclear safety standards, especially for very young children. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and improves training, supervision, and infant safety protocols so other families don’t experience the same issues.
Well maintained facilities. Great pools. Good selection of fitness classes and instructors are great. Plenty of fitness equipment. Staff is helpful, warm, friendly. Locker rooms are in good shape.
