Powered by GoogleIt was wonderful in 1990 when I went, and my niece loves it just as much as I did. Visiting day was so much fun-it brought back so many memories and I recognized so much.

This is the best camp in the world great friend people and staff my favorite place on earth I love it so so so much
HVC is simply wonderful! Best in comfort and safety. My girls (then 11yo and 12yo) attended last year for the first time. It was also their first overnight camp experience. I was genuinely shocked and delighted not to get a phone call to pick one or both of them up. This is because everyone at camp is so supportive and kind! The McKinleys take pride in their camp and treat the kids there as their own. Beautifully done - at pick up they absolutely would have stayed longer! I have registered them again for this summer and they are looking forward to it. Thank you HVC for doing such a remarkable job with these kiddos! If you are considering this camp for your kids get on the email list early - it fills up fast! Just do it - your kids will thank you (mine did)!
This camp was a very successful and supportive community, camp counselors were very helpful and nice until the clock struck 3 pm that’s where it started to disintegrate, first off. There was no food no water and our fellows were black mailing us and trying to intimidate us and said they were in a gang 2nd off we heard bears and cougars loud and clear and even saw a 7 foot big old moose. The pool was so brown and there was no privacy. The lake was cold and no sunshine and smiles. One of the camp girls cut of my hair and mom wanted to sue there family and that turned into a $300 law suit. will not be returning
