Powered by GoogleParker is the BEST. My little boy started swim lessons last week. He is 3 in a 3-5 class with kids that all seem very comfortable in the water. My son has only swam in the water with family members, and while he is comfortable with us, he was very hesitant to get in the water during his swim lesson last week. Parker noticed my son's fear and spent the whole lesson one on one with my son, helping him feel at ease. I am so grateful and so glad that I found this YMCA for swim lessons, and that Parker is on staff to help my little boy feel more confident and safe in the water. Thank you, Parker!
I’ve been going to this location for quite a while and I’ve honestly had no issues with it. A few months ago, I started to notice the amount of children that are inside of the gym workout area. These kids are ranging between maybe 7 to 14 years old. There is never a parent around, it’s super unsafe for the kids to be playing around weights or using weights and not knowing how to use them properly out of the many times that I have seen kids in there. No one is being told to be with a parent. I have seen many adults waiting to use machines because there’s a child playing on it.
Nice gym. Great until the last hour or so when the herd of kids are left to play on the free weights and machineswith zero help from the staff. And apparently you can park on the leg press for over an hour if you're BSing with the the kid "working" the gym desk. Otherwise still a nice gym. Now adding 24/7 access too.
We love the YMCA and it appears pretty clean each time, for the price it’s a great facility. My daughter goes to the play and learn program and everyone in there is very kind and caring which I appreciate so much to have the opportunity to workout while she’s taken care of. It is nice and it’s not filled with tvs, sometimes they have special activities like colorings or crafts which is good too
The people are great! There is a true sense of community. The check-in people always welcome me by name. The aerobic instructors are friendly and challenging. The workout area has plenty of weights, weight machines, and treadmills. The are lots of nice members. Some have become friends.
