Powered by GoogleSuch a fantastic facility—well maintained and spotless. The amenities were top-notch, and the food from the concessions was absolutely delicious. I attended a swim meet there, and it truly felt like a memorable weekend. Everyone had an amazing time and genuinely enjoyed the event.
We have been proud of the Rivi for years, and have grown up loving this place. I took my lumps back in the days of The Bullpen and did my first 1 1/2 off that high dive. That’s why this situation is so hard to process. What is astounding is the board’s decision to dismiss and deactivate the current memberships of those who chose not to “chip in” the extra bailout funds. We understand the club is facing real financial challenges due to mismanagement of declining membership, but well-run organizations value ALL members. Every family, including the kids, has an opportunity to speak highly of the Rivi, as they have for decades. The board has ensured that many will now do the opposite. What benefit has that provided for those who made the extra contribution? What will those families do when their kids discover some of their friends aren’t allowed back this year? The near-sighted, knee-jerk implementation of this budgetary rescue has likely doomed any financial progress for next season. The board stopped the bleeding, but cut off its leg in the process.
Went with a member for lunch. Food and service were good. Pricey, but expected. Acoustics allow you to hear more than you want.
The BEST health club I've been a member of. The pool is massive and you never have to fight for a lane, the food is incredible, and I love playing tennis on the close by courts. Join if you can!!
Something for everyone - slides, diving pool, lap lanes, food, sumner camp - and a great meeting place for kids and adults alike. Ultra strict membership w/ an inflexible staff (i.e. non-member alternate parent accompanying a member minor to the pool while member parent is out of town and having to pay to get in). Otherwise, It's the new and improved Rivi.
