The Wheeler-Dowe Boys & Girls Club, part of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Indianapolis, offers a full-day summer camp for youth ages 5-18, running weekdays roughly early June through mid-July from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Activities span art, athletics, cooking, and performance, and daily healthy meals and a snack are included. Low-cost registration (about $50 per child) supports access for local families.

This place has been negative for younger children to attend. It's not in a very good location either. Most of the children are from the surrounding areas and come from the Brightwood neighborhood. I would never send a child there without proper support and supervision from a very trusted source. Good programs or not places such as this one need more manpower to ensure safety for ALL participants.
Great place for kids. The facility has areas they rent for parties. Decorated by Endless Possibilities LLC
Older club but great programs for area youth. Free Tang Soo Doo self defense courses for youth, girl scouts, and college road trips. Something for youth of all ages and free hot meals. After school and school break programming available for ages 5 to 19.
I went here to volunteer for a class and I fell in love with that place. If you're wondering if you should take your two children there I would definitely recommend it because they're nice they're friendly all the kids are active. Even if you want to volunteer some of your time there I would definitely recommend it because the kids would definitely appreciate this a lot.
