YMCA summer day camp at the Baxter branch on Indianapolis's south side, set on 19 acres in Perry Township with both indoor and outdoor space. Camp days run 9:00 am to 4:00 pm rain or shine and mix swimming, sports, games, crafts and character-building activities; swim lessons are available for an extra fee and the Y provides transportation for field trips and enrichment clinics. Financial assistance is available through donor support.

★★★Oliver BouthierMy 3-star rating is based solely on my use of the pool. I went there for a workout on my way back to indy from Columbus. The pool was very shallow at one end (2'9") which made it difficult to swim and turn. I scraped my fingers at the bottom several times. So I modified my swim stroke in order to negotiate the shallow end. I would not recommend this pool for any adult interested in a medium workout. The staff was friendly and helpful.

They have an amazing indoor playground area for those rainy days. And they have some booths if you want to bring some food or snacks.. they have all kinds of amazing Sports my son is involved in t-ball now. Great job YMCA you were amazing for me when I grew up and you're still amazing

The swimming pool is great in the summer and outside basketball court and soccer field is great. It’s great for kids cause they have a lot of programs, daycare, kids night out, and fun activities like summer camp and an interactive game room for kids. Great family atmosphere and gym for the family.
