The Express YMCA location is great and suits my needs. With a large class studio with hardwood flooring downstairs plus free weights and machine training equipment upstairs, Bikes, Elliptical, Stairmaster, and others. I really find it a convenient and professional experience.

I visited last month. It's a clean and friendly atmosphere. I attended Tuesday strength class at 12pm. The instructor was amazing. She welcomed me, led us to an energetically fun class. I had a great time, especially with 80s music.

i enjoy my membership at the Harris Express location but they keep eliminating classes in the evenings and for those of us who work a regular work schedule 8-5p and can’t come during the day that doesn’t work. You may want to reconsider joining Harris Express. Their last class of any type on Thursday, Friday and Monday is 5:30 so that eliminates three of my available days to work out. I live nearby and that was the benefit of joining. If I have to get in my car and drive somewhere to go to a class then being a member of express when you live nearby is no longer a benefit. It’s not like the classes were empty in fact quite often they were full, so I really don’t understand why they’re eliminating classes at express When you don’t get off work till 5 o’clock, you can’t make a 5:30 class anywhere in Charlotte traffic so that means a much later class at another location.
