Harbor Country Day School Summer Camp and Workshops
Seven-week summer day camp run by Harbor Country Day School on its Saint James campus, June 29 to August 14, 2026, for campers entering Pre-K through grade 9. Campers are grouped by the grade they will enter in September and each group is led by a State Certified Teacher, with a daily rotational schedule covering physical education, music, nature and STEAM projects, arts and crafts, academic enrichment, and 'Choice' afternoons; full-day campers get two pool sessions a day, a morning instructional swim graded by assessment and an afternoon free swim. Weekly off-campus trips run for grades 6-9, and a Counselor-in-Training program (8:30am-3:30pm) is open to campers entering grade 10. Optional academic and special-interest workshops meet before and after camp for an extra charge, doors open at 7:30am and aftercare runs to 6pm, a registered nurse is on site, and groups hold 20-25 campers at ratios from 1:5 in preschool to 1:10 in grades 6-9.

★★★★★Carolyn O'DwyerI can’t say enough great things about Camp Harbor. This will be my kids’ third summer attending full day, 5 days a week for all 7 weeks, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. The program is so well run with a great mix of activities like swimming, sports, arts and crafts, and more. There’s a special event every day, which keeps the kids excited and looking forward to camp each morning. The staff is amazing and really cares about the kids. My kids come home happy, confident, and full of stories. One of our favorite features is the Friday Kids Night Out program. It’s such a fun bonus for the kids and gives parents a nice night off. Even the food stands out. It’s much better than a typical school lunch, and the pizzeria pizza on Fridays is always a big hit. Camp Harbor really gives the kids an incredible summer experience and we’re excited to be back again!!!!
