A Hidden Gem for the Arts in Hampton! I was so happy to discover the Hampton Academy of Music, Dance, and Drama Inc. right here in Hampton! Mr. Redcross and his staff are caring, polite, and absolute professionals. In a time when it feels like our cultural arts are fading, it’s refreshing to see mentors who are passionate about preserving and teaching this beautiful craft. Mr. Redcross has been doing a phenomenal job teaching piano. He’s patient, clear, and exceptionally skilled at working with young children who are just beginning their musical journey. Even sitting in the lessons, I am learning as well, which is so exciting. Young children can loose focus but Mr. Redcross help to keep my son engaged with his fun personality. As a parent, I’m deeply impressed and grateful to have him guiding my future Juilliard student! This academy is truly a treasure. Hello, The Redcross Music family have been a joy. I was a student of Mrs. Redcross when she worked with NNPS as a Music teacher at Hines. I enjoyed my time as her student and her husband is an amazing teacher as well. She will be missed, and He is the mere twin to her so whoever gets trained by him will have an amazing experience I love these two and you will love him as well. Mr. Redcross is an excellent piano teacher at the Hampton Academy of Music, Dance and Drama Inc. He encourages and patiently provides clear instructions to my son. He brings a sense of calm and humor whenever my son expresses a bit of frustration with a new and difficult piece. My son enjoys playing duets with Mr. Redcross and he loves participating in seasonal recitals with the program. I highly recommend Mr. Redcross as an instructor because he focuses on technique, theory and effective guidance during lessons. In addition, he helps the academy provide a warm and caring environment for its students.
