This review is in reference to the Tiny Tots soccer program. The communication for this program is poor to non existent. The few emails that have been sent out with some form of communication are at 9-10pm for the event that takes place maybe at 8am? Couldnt you because the emails don’t actually say. I have been emailing and texting requesting my money back. I am met with no response or the response that ‘my boss is not in the office’. This has been ongoing since March. The first ‘practice’ did not happen as the time slots that we were allotted to sign up for were apparently not known to the assistant program director. When we arrived no one was there. The second practice was cur short due to the coach having pre-existing plans. The 3rd practice was good and actually took place. During this time I have sent numerous unanswered emails. We did miss a week, but also stated we would miss a week. The 5th practice, did not happen and no communication of it not happening. We found out by showing up. Then we finally get an email at 9/10pm on a Friday that there was no practice the following Saturday. I want my money back. This program is poorly ran with no communication. It was a huge disappointment.
So clean and nice in here. I'm just starting to work out at the gym again so the YMCA is the best. They have sauna, swimming aerobics. I'm waiting for the Zumba to get started. Got to get my cardio. The place is very clean. That's what I really like about it and of course I use my sanitizer and I'm going to Mask up while using the facilities.
Pool area was always cold, kids had blue lips after 30 minutes each time. Had a bad experience with the head of the pool area enforcing rules that weren't stated anywhere. After an email chain involving his supervisor, the matter was resolved to my satisfaction, but I didn't appreciate the conflict so I never returned. Upon trying to cancel my membership I was then required to drive there and fill out a form instead of just cancelling on the website or over the phone. Most of the other staff there seemed very friendly, and I'm sure there are parts of the business that are very rewarding for those that make use of it.
The YMCA of Georgetown, SC is excellent! They have so much for the entire family. For $69 a month our entire family has a membership. They have a full gym and pool. They offer lots of classes and swimming lessons. Great programs for adults and children.
