Pepper Geddings Recreation Center, run by the City of Myrtle Beach, hosts Camp Friendship, a summer day camp for ages 5-12 with arts and crafts, games, sports, playground time and daily swimming in the indoor pool. Camp runs Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m., at a city rate of about $75 per week. The center also offers shorter specialty sessions such as an All-Sports Camp (pickleball, basketball, volleyball, lacrosse, track) and a Track and Field Camp, plus after-school programs during the school year.

★Melissa JamesThis would be a great place to let your kids play sports, but they're allowing the coaches kids to play on the same team as them and giving favoritism, when these are children and they are supposed to be there to learn the sport more and more, but it's more of a competition for the coaches that volunteer. They should not allow children to be on the same team as their parents, all children should be able to play equally. I hear a lot of parents here complain about the same thing, but nothing happens.

I can not say enough great things about how amazing, patient and attentive these 2 instructors were. I even had a conversation with Caitlin and she was so helpful and informative when it came to ways I can help the kids outside of their classes. In a place like Myrtle Beach this knowledge is SO IMPORTANT and I’m so happy I went here for swim instructions!!! Thank you for everything!
