My daughter has danced at Fusion the past 4 years and it’s been a great experience throughout. We look forward to the recital every year, and we enjoy the competitions as well. Her tap teacher in particular, Ms. Cassie, creates such a welcoming environment for all of the students. Ms. Cassie does a wonderful job of choreographing great routines and keeping it fun while teaching complicated steps. Her class has become more than just dance, and has turned into a real dance family.

If your child has high energy then this is NOT the place you want to enroll your child in. Some of the instructors are indifferent to whether the child is paying attention, learning, or having fun. The class has 1 instructor who is sometimes young and inexperienced along with 12-15year old girls assisting them. There is nepotism here so sometimes the staff is related to each other and have little to no experience teaching young children. Also be careful with the automatic payments because they charged me the registration fee two times and I had to call them to get it refunded. Here is a bit more about my experience: I wanted my 4 year old child to be moved from a star is born 2 class to a star is born 1 class because she was not learning or having fun and was being ignored. I felt the teacher was annoyed by her. I thought maybe a younger group and better teacher would help the situation. I was told no to this change because her going down a level was not good and because she is supposed to be 3 turning 4 (BUT when I was registering her, they told me star is born 1 is an option since she is 4 (turned 4 in April) and dancers must be the minimum age of 4 for the class by October 1st which applied to her. There were even older kids than my daughter in Star in born 1 classes) I feel the person in charge- Jessica did not want to accommodate me because she didn't want the star is born 2 teacher - her daughter Bianca getting offended. At one point, I was told my daughter has a lot of energy so she should just do hip-hop, even though I informed them that my daughter took a summer hip hop class and disliked it. I felt like they were totally being dismissive of us and wanted us out. I was given such a hard time and this all left me with such a horrible dance school experience.

My daughter started at Fusion this season in the Star is Born 2 classes (ballet and tap for 4-5 year olds). The staff has been amazing, helping with any questions or assisting with scheduling make up classes and she loves it so much we added on hip hop classes mid-season. Fusion makes it fun while also teaching age appropriate dance techniques. We also love the fun extra events they put on!

My 2 girls have been a part of fusion dance for 3 years now, and we love it. The staff is amazing always eager to assist and accommodate your schedule with the dance school schedule. The dance teachers are amazing, they are always encouraging the kids to have fun and learn at the same time. Definitely recommend this dance school!
