Powered by GoogleVery please with this dance school! My daughter loves it, 9 consecutive years and counting.
This is the worst studio you can ever consider to take your child in the state of New Jersey DO NOT GO HERE. I was interested in signing my 5 year old daughter up for classes in January as it was a new year and i wanted to get her into a new activity as she’s soo active. I was greeted by a women at the front desk. The first thing I immediately noticed is that there’s no diversity. The studio consists of primarily caucasian race , with only one student of color, I saw in the class at the time. As someone who is of color I did not feel welcomed at all. When I was greeted I was treated almost as if I was lost , or needed help finding another facility in the area versus trying to look into signing my child up for classes. I do not feel as though my daughter would be accepted by the other children at the studio. After our conversation with the studio owner Ms.Kim I quickly came to terms that she can be very facetious and has a tendency to gaslight her customers into buying more classes for their kids and seems very money motivated. I’ve later to learn that the studio is a revolving door and that every year they have a new teacher for every style with barely any consistent staff , some leaving in the middle of the year randomly with no explanation and not finishing the season. I’ve heard multiple students have left due to bullying and parents being disrespected by the studio owner. I could sense the studio owner being racist towards me and have heard she has been towards her staff. ( which explains why I didn’t see any teachers of color either) I have heard the kids being gaslit by the studio owner as well and that they hate her. Ms.Kim do better for your studio and community , too many red flags, that wouldn’t make anyone want to be a part of that studio or the “community” that it has. no diversity , only one bathroom , Narcissistic , gaslighting , rude, inconsistent staff, favoritism amongst students, multiple students leaving the studio every year. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS STUDIO
We love BPAC! They have a wide variety of classes for every level. The staff is so sweet and always goes above and beyond for their dancers and students. Communication is great and everything is always run seamlessly. The facility is clean and welcoming. Aside from their variety of classes, they frequently host other events for their dancers which is a great plus. We love BPAC and will forever be loyal to them!
We are very happy at BPAC! We are new, my daughter is 3 and at first was very shy and would cry going in and they made her feel very comfortable and as time went on she went in with no problem! Watching her class from the tv screens, the class she takes looks like such a fun and energetic class and she comes out smiling everytime! The kids in the class are all so kind and the older ones are so good to the tinier ones!— she has learned so much and shows us all her skills at home! I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the recital!
First Day of ADULT HIP HOP FRIDAYS 6:30! It’s an awesome class! Anyone who likes to dance would enjoy this class. If you don’t get the steps, no worries we will do it again! Great instructor and can’t wait to go back next week! Come try this class, I’m 57 and I had a GREAT TIME and I haven’t had any formal training except for Dance Clubs
