Powered by GoogleFollow Your Art is a place for your creative side to flourish without judgment, to meet and make lifelong friends, and to try something new! I started taking pottery classes a year ago after many years of my kids doing classes and camp at FYA and it was a great decision! I look forward to going in every week and have learned so much from all the amazing pottery instructors. Definitely take a class, you won't regret it!
I love the pottery community at FYA in Melrose! I started taking classes when they first offered them three years ago and I haven’t missed a session yet! The new studio just opened with more space and I’ve especially appreciated the opportunity to give my suggestions of what I’d like to see as the community grows and evolves. Welcoming and supportive all around 😊
I recently completed my first Adult Ed pottery class at Follow Your Art. From the moment I walked in I was very impressed with the new studio space. It was immediately evident that it took a ton of hard work and passion for the ceramics program to bring it to fruition. Our instructor Jess was excellent and able to cater to different skill levels in the class. My friend and I have already signed up and are excited for another session. Congrats to FYA on this incredible space and leadership.
I’ve taken two classes and one pottery series here. I enjoyed the two classes but I loved the pottery series- I saw myself improve in a short time period and recently made my first two not crooked bowls! I like how they allow for open studio time on top of the class time, it makes the class a better value for me. They just opened their new pottery space and it’s large and beautiful. I love that they make art accessible, I’ve used their financial assistance program. Also having a disability I found that they are very accommodating you just have to let them know what you might need and they’ll do what they can.
I've been taking ceramics/pottery classes at Follow Your Art for a number of years and really enjoy it. The instructors are dedicated to the craft and always available for lessons and questions from beginner to advanced students. The new larger studio space allows for more students to participate. It's a really great community where I've made some good friends. Give it a try!
