Florida Elite Swimming, formerly the Land O' Lakes Lightning founded in 1994, is a competitive aquatics club based at the pool complex at the Land O' Lakes Recreation Center, 3032 Collier Parkway. It takes swimmers from beginner lessons through nationally ranked competition and also fields a synchronized swimming team, serving as a feeder program to Sunlake, Land O' Lakes, Wiregrass Ranch and Cypress Creek high schools. The listing is a year-round competitive club rather than a summer camp.

★Darlinda LewellenDON’T SEND SMALL KIDS for Swimming lessons!! They are clearly all about the $$$ and not helping the kids! Taxpayers should not be restricted to use this pool themselves. This “Elite” is a sham, they need to go! I paid for six half hour lessons and my six year old got literally 8 minutes of each lesson 1:1. AND SHE SAT FOR 22 MINUTES ON THE STAIRS! Then, when I asked why the moved her into a lower level, the lifeguard mocked me to the director! All a ploy to get more $ out of me for more lessons. SO DISAPPOINTED!!!!
