Education Unlimited runs academic and creative-arts summer camps for rising 4th through 12th graders on university campuses, including Stanford, UC Berkeley, UCLA, Caltech and Georgetown. Subjects are single-focus and taught by subject-matter instructors at a roughly 1:12 ratio: competitive debate, speech and mock trial, acting, creative writing, computer programming, video production, college admission and SAT prep, and science camps in astrophysics, genetics, robotics, marine science and surgical medicine. Most sessions offer both overnight and commuter options - overnight campers live in university dorms with staff on their floor, day campers attend 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and extended-day campers 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. with meals in the dining hall; the Caltech programs are day camp only. The company has run programs since 1993 and offers a need-based tuition assistance program and early enrollment discounts.
