Powered by GoogleThis was our first summer with Steve & Kate's in Torrance, and it was great for our 6 year old. While the weekly activities don't change much throughout the summer (might not be ideal for older kids) there was plenty to do each day and a rotation of activities throughout the week (bounce houses, slip'n'slides, go-carts) as well as a standard array of craft/art/baking/tech activities. The facilities are very nice, and all of the counsellors seemed friendly and engaged. Mickey, the camp director, was also very helpful in setting up some pre-camp zoom sessions as well as helping us through some billing questions since we were taking advantage of Bright Horizons back-up care to help pay for the camp. We're fully intending to come back next summer, and my 3-year-old will be joining when she ages out of her pre-school.
I had a fantastic experience with Steve & Kate’s Camp this summer! One of the standout features is the flexibility—it’s incredibly convenient for working parents. I especially appreciated having two different location options: Torrance and Manhattan Beach. I explored both through Bright Horizon, and was impressed by how well-organized and welcoming each site was. The camp offers a full-time schedule from 8 AM to 6 PM, which is perfect for families needing extended care. What really sets it apart is the variety of activities available for kids. They’re given the freedom to choose what interests them, which fosters creativity and independence.
My daughter has loved camp this summer. It was her first summer camp she is 4. From bubble parties to sewing outfits and cooking pizza and cinnamon roles. Everyday she had loads. We will be back next year
This summer camp is one of the best I’ve seen. My kids love it. There is so much to do like crafting, baking and raffle too. So, if you want your kids to have an amazing time then go here.
My son went to Steve and Kate’s 2 weeks this summer. He has had a great time and has even learned to sew with a machine. He pretty much comes home with a new project everyday. He enjoys the lunch selections and the staff is nice. Sad he’s almost aging out.
