The Al Wooten Jr. Youth Center is a South Los Angeles nonprofit (founded 1990) offering a low-cost Summer Fun Camp for students who completed grades 3-8, Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-6 p.m. The camp combines academic tutoring and enrichment (reading, math, science, arts) with sports and field trips, and includes lunch and snacks. It serves roughly 300 students a year in the area.
