We used the theater room to host a dance workshop and it went off without a hitch. The booking process was easy. They were ready for us when we arrived to set up and ensured everything was ready to go. We have some things we would like to adjust for our next rental like lighting and air but feel positive it won't be a problem. The room was spacious. The bathrooms were clean. And the environment felt great, overall.

I LUV LUV LUV this Center!!! The STAFF is an AMAZING GROUP of workers. I’ve been a patron of the Recreational facility, the Corner Theater, Outdoor Concert Theater, and Banquet areas from the beginning of it’s openings.

We signed my grandson up for this youth boys basketball league thinking it would be a great experience. Unfortunately, it was very disappointing. The coach did not actively coach the team and showed clear favoritism toward players who were related to her. When it came time to select the All-Star team and the dunk contest, my grandson — who is an excellent player — was not chosen, while family members and her favorite players were picked twice for both opportunities. Adding to the frustration, the league was not cheap to sign up for, and I feel like that money was wasted given the lack of fair play and proper coaching. It’s unfortunate that the league seems to prioritize certain children over others based on personal connections rather than merit. Because of this bias, I do not think we will participate in the De Soto league again. Youth sports should be about teaching, encouraging, and fairly recognizing all players, not just a select few.

I've been trying to get my deposit back for a month now from Q due to an event that I had on December the 20th 25 I've done everything that he asked me to do and yet and still I have not received my deposit for an event that I had over a month ago for my mother I have not even heard anything back from DeSoto recreation center when I reached out on multiple different occasions at this point after talking to Q and he's stated that he would pass my information over to someone else being that he's the one that handled the finances have not heard anything This is one of the reasons why black people don't like use some black business now every time I call whomever I'm talking to want to know what's the problem like they're trying to assist me but it comes off as a cover up and they're just passing me off
