Darien Junior Sailing Team is a nonprofit summer sailing program operating out of Weed Beach for nearly 50 years, teaching novice through advanced junior sailors. Optimist instruction serves ages 8–15 while Club 420s and Lasers are for ages 13 and up. Two-week sessions include boat rental, drawing on a fleet of Optimists, 420s, and a Laser.
