KidSail is North Cove Sailing's summer sailing camp for children ages 7-17, based at the club's Battery Park facility at 300 Vesey Street in Lower Manhattan. Sessions run Monday through Friday in half-day blocks of 9:00am-12:00pm or 1:00pm-4:00pm; full-day campers add a lunch break and an extra classroom session between the two. Instruction is on a fleet of Colgate 26 keelboats and follows US Sailing curriculum, with staff who hold US Coast Guard captain's licenses and US Sailing certification. No prior sailing experience is required, and indoor sailing-related lessons replace on-water time in bad weather.
