I'm writing this review to share some significant concerns, but also to express our willingness to give this studio another chance. While my daughter absolutely loves the program, our overwhelmingly negative experiences with the older woman at the front desk have been a major point of frustration. On two separate occasions, this individual has directly reprimanded my children for perceived misbehavior, completely bypassing me, their parent. The first incident involved my daughter, who was wearing her recital outfit to practice. There were absolutely no guidelines provided that indicated this wasn't allowed, yet this woman still chose to scold my daughter. This immediately made my daughter anxious and upset, to the point where she wanted to go home and change. The second incident was even more egregious. She directly confronted my 5-year-old son for simply playing in the waiting area during practice. In both instances, she demonstrated an astonishing lack of judgment by addressing my children directly and in an intimidating manner, rather than speaking to me, the parent. It's truly baffling that someone in her position would think it's appropriate to approach other people's children in such a way. When I attempted to address these incidents with her, I was met not with an apology, but with a defensive justification of her actions. This lack of accountability and empathy is incredibly disappointing, especially coming from an adult who should know better. Her behavior felt more akin to a drill sergeant than someone working with families and children in a creative environment. Despite these upsetting interactions, my daughter's love for the program is keeping us here for now. However, I highly recommend that the studio address this woman's behavior. Clear coaching on how to appropriately interact with children and their parents is desperately needed. Her actions are creating an unwelcoming atmosphere, and it's something that needs to be corrected if you want to retain families like ours.

Would have liked to give it 5 stars but it's completely unreasonable to tell parents they can't even check in on their 2 year old, especially in 2023. Very least they should offer a live video feed to the waiting room so parents can watch who's touching and interacting with their child. I'm kinda shocked.
