Concord Youth Theatre (CYT), founded in 1976, runs summer theatre workshops in Concord for young people from age 4 through middle school. Offerings range from one-week creative workshops such as Center Stage Players (grades 1-6), where students dramatize familiar stories with songs and simple dances and give an informal performance for family, to a three-week Summer Stock Troupe (grades 6-8) that sharpens performance skills. Classes cover drama, dance, playmaking and improvisation, and all instructors hold degrees in theater, performing arts or educational theater.

Finally got let in and my daughter, full of relief and excitement ran upstairs to jump in the process. Met by a woman with a condescending attitude who told her “too late… come back in the Spring”.
