Code Ninjas is a national coding-center franchise whose summer camps teach kids ages 5 to 14 to program through game-building themes such as Roblox, Minecraft, YouTube and LEGO Spike Prime robotics engineering. Camps run Monday through Friday as half-day sessions, either 9:00 a.m. to noon or 12:30 to 3:30 p.m., and families can book both blocks back to back for a full day; weekly tuition is about $250 for a single half-day camp, or $225 per block when both are taken. Year-round, kids progress through a belt system from white belt to black belt, building their own video games in Scratch, JavaScript and Python. This center serves Los Angeles.

Google Reviews
Powered by GoogleWe have been members at the Silverlake location for three years. This review is for the period since July 2024, when the location was reopened with new owner / managers who have done a wonderful job of expanding offerings to include e-sports game nights, chess club, and parent and me learning opportunities. The staff is welcoming and my child looks forward to working with them. The overall Code Ninjas curriculum has been engaging and my kiddo is cranking out Roblox game concepts and explainer videos.
My son has been taking classes here since 2021. He loves it and his teachers. The new owners have been amazing, they even rehired the staff who lost their jobs when the previous owners went out of business. I really appreciated having that continuity for my son. I also really love the flexibility in scheduling and the fact that if you can’t make it during the week the hour rolls over. Most places make you lose that credit. My boy is learning and having fun! It’s a great environment.
My son is really thriving here. He loves going to Code Ninjas. The staff is wonderful. They are friendly and engaging. They explain things to him in a way that he can really grasp and understand. We did the family night this past Friday. He was excited to show me what he’s been working on. We both had so much fun creating our very own video game together! We were provided a link to share it with friends and family which was super cool. 10/10 recommend!
Our eight year old son recently completed two weeks of summer camp at Code Ninjas and we really can’t say enough great things about the experience! He had an amazing time! He’s not normally the type of kid to share much about his day at school, but every day we picked him up from camp he immediately wanted to tell us all about what he’d learned and worked on that day. The instructors (sensei) were fantastic and really made our son feel confident and appreciated. The folks running the camp were extremely friendly and professional, always asking if there were ways to improve the camp (we couldn’t think of any!). Truly a wonderful experience and what I believe will be the beginning of a long term interest for our son.
This place is awesome! A very progressive idea for what our small children will be hired in as adults. They are learning coding and how to create their own games. Gabriel loves going. The staff is very supportive and helpful! I love this center because not only do kids have fun playing games, they are being creative at the same time. As for safety, the center has been excellent in providing the best covid precautions and following state guidelines. Very happy we decided to come!
