CodeREV Kids is a STEM/tech summer day-camp provider (based in Santa Monica, with many locations nationwide) for kids roughly ages 6-15. Camps are hands-on in coding, robotics, game design, Minecraft modding, Roblox, 3D modeling and animation, and app development, split into 'Micro' (ages 6-9/10) and 'Macro' (ages 10-15) tracks, offered in person and live-online.

★★★★★Gregory ReadeMy kids took the one week Robotics coding class working with Lego Mindstorms. They really enjoyed the class and coding the robots. I thought the "battle" coding was a bit basic; personally I like having the robots perform "robot" tasks as if they were in a factory or on another planet. (That means following a path, moving objects, recognizing things and reacting etc.) It was a good week and they seemed to learn a lot and enjoyed their instructors. Now I have to decide when I might invest in the robotics kit for home...!

We especially love the owner, Evan, and Jim Pike, who teaches grades 2-8 math using Minecraft. They've been a bit busy, lately, with summer camps, but nevertheless my daughter is getting the individualized attention she needs as she learns to code. I was also happy to hear they're coming to her charter school to teach in the fall.
