The Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center's Summer Day Camp in Grasonville is a nature-based day camp for children from Pre-K through sixth grade. Campers catch frogs, hike trails, meet live animals, and connect with the natural world through art, stories, games, and outdoor play each week on the center's bayfront preserve. It’s free definitely someplace to take the whole family. You can also rent kayaks. This is the perfect place to take school. Kids load them on the school bus and they will never forget this trip. They do accept donations and the road leading to center is not Car friendly so you wanna keep your mouth to around 5 mph or slower. But overall a wonderful place to get away from the city and listen to the birds and nature.
