Terrapin Adventures runs outdoor adventure day camps in Savage for ages 4–17, based at its aerial adventure park. Campers take on a zip line, high and low ropes courses, a 43-foot climbing tower and giant swing, plus off-site activities like kayaking, mountain biking, archery, hiking and caving. A dedicated Terrapin Explorer course is built for ages 5–9.

For more experienced adventurers, the high ropes course and zipline might feel a bit brief and basic but are still plenty of fun. The climbing tower was more challenging than I expected but maybe I'm just out of shape? Either way... I lived the variety of options. Finally for us, the swing was surprisingly exciting and smooth... It's just a shame that it's all over so quickly.
