The Charlotte Avenue YMCA in Rock Hill, a branch of the YMCA of Upper Palmetto, hosts the association's summer day camp, 'The Out Of This World Place,' for rising kindergarten through 8th graders. Rates are $175 per week for members and $225 for non-members, plus a one-time $25 registration fee; a $25 non-refundable weekly deposit holds a spot.

I have had 4 of my children attend the Y's child watch since birth, and I have never had any major issues. My youngest loves going to the child watch while I workout, and my three oldest who started there as babies are now lifeguards at there indoor pool. It has an amazing family friendly vibe as well as up to date work out equipment, aerobics classes, and sports activities for the youth. Don't let others scare you from coming to try for yourself. especially those with young children. Try it yourself!
★Lisa TannerI have only been to this location a number of times but I just picked my daughter up from child watch and her pants were wet and they said "we tried to put a diaper on her but she wouldn't let us.So we figured you would want to finish your work out and would be here soon since it's almost 12." So they just let her continue to play covered in urine with the other children, until I arrived. I am sorry I should have had a bag but if my child's wets themselves you get me Immediately you do not wait any amount of time thinking I'll be there soon. For sanitation of the other children in there, anywhere she sits or touches now is gross for other kids. And for her, no child should be left with pants soaking wet with pee.
